ISRAELI AND SAUDI JEWELERS PROVIDE FREE TRAINING

An Israeli jewelry company is providing job training to Ethiopian immigrants in Jerusalem according to Tazpit News Agency.  Itzik and Orna Levy, founders of Yvel jewelry manufacturers, have established a jewelry-making school for Ethiopian students to give back to the community according to the news report.  Yvel’s jewelry is sold worldwide.
Also…
Saudi jewelry designer Yousra Al-Faiz has devoted herself to the rehabilitation of  female prisoners according to Menafn news service. Al-Faiz is developing jewelry design training courses to enable creative women prisoners to develop work skills they can use post-incarceration.
Note-I would provide links for these stories, but I had a great deal of difficulty opening the websites. I am not sure what caused the problems.
